Prayers A Gift

A Prayer is a beautiful gift, it takes nothing but pure intentions for us to pray.

I recently lost an ex colleague who was a lady of gratitude and prayers, instead of sending stupid good morning messages, she would send me a few lines of prayers everyday. Nothing elaborate but to quote here are a few:

“There is a simple logic I follow in life. The ones who judge will never understand and the ones who understand will never judge.
We do not always need someone to give us advice. Sometimes we just need a hand to hold, an ear to hear and a pure heart to listen . May you always find that someone. God bless and Good Morning.”

“Someone remembers
Someone cares
Your name is whispered in
Someone’s prayers
Keep this beautiful feeling in view
Someone is always wishing the best for you.
Good Morning and stay safe”

“A last minute goal will change the entire game.
So try up to the last minute, anything will be possible.
When the hand of God is in your life nobody can stop you from be blessed. Good Morning”

“A smile to start you day 😀😀😀…
A prayer to bless your way🙏🙏🙏…
A song to lighten your burden 🎻🥁🎺…
A message to wish you a very good day and May the good Lord keep you safe.
Good Morning”

“Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments in your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end. Good Morning take care and stay safe.”

“There’s No Storm that God won’t carry you through. No Bridge that God won’t help you cross. No Battle that God won’t help you win. No Heartache that God won’t help you let go of. He is SO much bigger than anything you will face today. Leave everything in his hands and embrace this day confidently knowing that HE will take care if you.
Good Morning be safe and take care.”

“GOD Says,
You may have
Someone in your mind,
Someone in your heart,
Someone in your dreams,
Someone in your life, but
I am your Someone
When You Have No One.
Good Morning and take care and be safe.”

“A breath of prayer in the morning means a day of power and blessings.
Let God’s providence reminds you that He has prepared the best for you today!
Enjoy God’s blessing!
Good Morning and stay safe.”

“Sometimes you have to let go of the picture of what you thought life would be like and learn to find joy in the story you are living. Often when we lose all hope
and
Think this is the end …
God smiles from above, says
Relax my dear
It’s just a bend.
Good Morning take care and be safe.”

“A simple way to be grateful to God is to close your eyes for a minute and think of those who never got a chance to open them. This day is a gift from God —- Let’s thank him for each breath.Good Morning and take care and please do be safe.”

“Good Morning
In God’s eyes,
Love is never absent.
In God’s heart,
Forgiveness is never impossible.
In God’s grace,
No one is ever alone or forgotten.
God Bless You Always any pl do take care and be safe.”

And her last message to me was

“I asked God to….
make you happy, make you smile, guide you safely through every mile: give you wealth, grant you health and most of all give you care and love you well.
Good Morning and do be safe.”

She passed away in her sleep, no regrets, no pain.

What else do you expect for such a beautiful soul? Even the angels tiptoed in the night and carried her on a cloud.

To me being in her prayers was being in a blessed place.

That she thought of me and all those people she sent these beautiful messages to, is being thought of, being cared and asking God to watch over us. And that is such a selfless and powerful act.

Prayers for self and family are something that we often do without much thought but praying for others, sometimes people you have barely made acquaintances with is an act of magnanimity.

Prayers for others are a gift that cost nothing to the giver but bestow kindness and God’s mercy and bounty for those whom we pray for.

This is a potent present from my mother one that leaves me touched and I automatically pray for those I think of.

In God’s Garden

He knew the time was right

You had suffered enough

And he had his plans

For the rest of us

He reached down and plucked

The beautiful flower

From my world

To keep it forever alive

In his garden

The east wind was coming

And thou shall not be wilted

For a flower as sweet as you

Needed a beautiful place

The world was grim and

Full of malaise

But he wanted you

To bloom forever

In his place
